1. Acceptance of Terms By use of the Escanner service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions

 If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Service.

2. Use of the service is designed to provide users with access to live audio broadcasts from various public safety and emergency services, including but not limited to fire, police, and emergency medical services. Users must use the service responsibly and ethically.

3. Prohibited Activities: 

• You agree that you will not use the service for any unlawful, harmful, or malicious purposes. Specifically, you are prohibited from: Using the service to listen to or monitor police, fire, or emergency communications with the intent to cause harm, interfere with operations, or engage in unlawful activities.

• Using the service to harass, intimidate, or threaten individuals or groups, especially emergency services providers

• Recording or disseminating sensitive or confidential emergency communications for malicious purposes.

• Engaging in any activity that would disrupt the normal operation of the public safety services being broadcast.

4. Malicious Intent and Legal Compliance:

• You agree that any use of the App to engage in criminal activity, such as using emergency communication channels for unauthorized surveillance or attempting to interfere with public safety operations, is strictly prohibited. You are required to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding the use of emergency communication systems and public safety broadcasts.

5. Data Collection and Privacy: The service may collect certain user data to improve functionality and enhance the user experience.

6. Termination of Service: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms and Conditions, engaged in prohibited activities, or used the service for malicious purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Niagara Signal shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of the services, including any legal consequences resulting from your misuse of public safety communication channels.

8. Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated 4/6/2025. Your continued use of the service after any such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New York State, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
